Imagine a car wash where no cars are washed, at least not literally. We are using carwash mechanics as dynamics for drama!
CARABOOM is an unexpected spectacle of silliness and physical poetry following the trials and triumphs of the Caraboom Family.
Foam cannons, bubble machines and human water fountains immerse participants and passengers in a splash filled adventure!

Origin Story
March 2020: Independent Theaters, Performing Arts Centers, Ballets, Concert Halls, Arenas, all shut down. *Live* ended. For Artists: means to a steady livelihood stopped. Bookings and engagements, gone. Commissions of new work, canceled.
As the world began to zig onto virtual platforms, I began to zag and reimagine how live entertainment could be produced and experienced at the time, and received a Knight Foundation New Work Award to develop a show that could endure the pandemic and thrive beyond it.
CARABOOM began as a crazy experiment set to envision a new model of immersive theater.
Crafted alongside an A-Team of artists and creatives, awarded by the Knight Foundation, and presented by Live Arts Miami, CARABOOM World Premiered in Downtown Miami in Spring 2022 to raving crowds and glowing reviews.
