OPUS 9 was created for Frontiers Forum, a world-class science event where visionary thinkers discuss science-led solutions for healthy lives on a healthy planet. ​​The agenda featured Dr. Jane Goodall, former Vice President Al Gore, Eighth Secretary-General to the United Nations Ban Ki-moon, Yuval Noah Harari and a remarkable line-up of scientists and thought-leaders working to change the world.

OPUS 9 premiered at the Fairmont Palace in Montreux, Switzerland April 27, 2023 as a tribute to Frontiers’ Open Science and Johan Rockström’s Nine Planetary Boundaries.

OPUS 9 is a multimedia theatrical adventure bringing Johan Rockström's Nine Planetary Boundaries — the scientific framework defining Earth's stability and life-support systems — to life using dynamic data, theatre, and choreography to navigate the complexity of our planet's resources and capacity.
OPUS 9 drew heavily from scientific collaboration, capturing Natasha's exploration of data as narrative, science as story, and performance as a platform for impact. The show follows two Maestros who find themselves entangled in an unexpected twist of fate, sharing a stage meant for one. Their playful rivalry becomes a metaphor for the data they are about to conduct: a symphonic visualization of planetary realities, in tension.
